Engineering

Responsibilities
The Engineering staff is responsible for management of the Public Works Department and the following:
  • Inspection of construction projects to assure compliance with approved plans and town standards
  • Engineering design of town projects
  • Project management of all construction contracted or performed by the town
  • Responding to and assuring compliance with all state requirements for street maintenance and environmental issues
  • Response to other citizen requests related to public works
  • Review and approval of construction drawings submitted by developers
