Accessibility
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
The Town of Ashland prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in its services, programs, accessibility, and activities. We support the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and attempt to provide access to our services and programs. Upon request, reasonable accommodations will be made, if accommodations do not fundamentally alter the nature of the program or service or impose an undue financial burden.
ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan
Under Title II of the ADA, the Town is required to complete a self-evaluation of the Town's public facilities, programs, and activities to determine compliance with the ADA and any barriers to accessibility. A self-evaluation and transition plan development process is currently underway.
If you have any questions about the self-evaluation and transition plan, please contact Wanda Cornwell, Assistant to the Town Manager and the Town's ADA Coordinator, at wcornwell@ashlandva.gov or (804) 798-9219.
