The Town of Ashland plans to pave Railroad Avenue between Tuesday, May 27, and Friday, May 30. The paving work is scheduled to begin at approximately 8:00 a.m. and finish at 7:00 p.m. on the work days. The work will extend from Henry Clay Road, through Thompson Street to Myrtle Street. At certain times during the operation, the railroad crossings at Henry Clay Road/College Avenue and/or Thompson Street/England Street will be closed. Expect detours, and possibly delays.
No parking will be allowed on Railroad Avenue throughout the duration of the paving work.
Please contact Wally Denton or Janie Kaplan at 804-798-9219 if you have questions regarding the paving work.
PLEASE NOTE: Because this project is along the railroad tracks, it must be coordinated with CSX, and is subject to CSX approval and participation. If CSX approval has not been received, there may be a delay in the timeline.
