The Ashland Police Department reminds residents the Ashland Holiday Parade will be taking place on Route 54 and Henry Street on Sunday, November 22 beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Officers will begin closing streets associated with the parade route at 11:00 a.m. Roads affected include Route 54 from Medical Drive to Henry Street, Hanover Avenue between Lee Street and Duncan Street and Henry Street between Route 54 and Archie Canon Drive. Other streets connecting to the parade route may have limited access as well. All affected roadways should be reopened by 6:00 p.m.
Motorists that wish to avoid delays should use Ashcake Road as an alternative route.
Additionally, the entire length of Henry Street from England Street to Archie Cannon Drive will be closed to parked vehicles. Ashland Public Works will begin leaf removal on Henry Street at 6:00 a.m. Sunday. Vehicles must be moved off Henry Street by 11:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21.
Towing will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. Sunday and be strictly enforced by the Ashland Police Department.
