[ARCHIVED] VDOT project - Route 1 improvements from Arbor Oak to Ashcake

The primary purpose of this project is to improve

operations and safety on S. Washington Highway

(Route 1) between Ashcake Road and Arbor Oak Drive

in the Town of Ashland. Proposed improvements

include construction of a raised median, left turn

lanes and sidewalks.

There is a citizen’s information session on June 20 at the Ashland Residency.
