Ashland Museum will offer two opportunities for a guided tour of the Richmond Slave Trail led by Kelly Merrill, Ph.D., Ashland Museum board member, faculty member at Randolph-Macon College and University of Richmond, and fellow with Initiatives of Change.
Join the Ashland Museum on Saturday, October 6, or Thursday, October 11. They will meet at the Ashland Museum at 8:45 and depart by van to Richmond at 9:00 am. The tour will make several stops in Richmond and does require some walking. The group will be back at the Ashland Museum about 1:00 pm.
Cost: $40 for members, $50 for non-members. Registration and payment in advance is required. Tickets are non-refundable. Tour will be held rain or shine and it is umbrella friendly. Dress for the weather and wear walking shoes since you will walking on uneven ground and paths.
